Job summary

LTIMindtree is seeking a Data Testing Engineer to validate data integrity across ETL, data warehouse, and analytics platforms in Irvine, CA. You will design and execute test cases, develop SQL queries, and ensure data quality end-to-end for BI solutions.

The role requires strong SQL skills, hands-on ETL testing experience with tools like Informatica/Talend/DataStage/SSIS, and familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks or AWS Glue.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in database testing and ETL validation.
• Strong SQL skills across Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL and Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica, Talend, DataStage or SSIS.
• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, Databricks or AWS Glue.

Senior Specialist - Quality Engineering

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Testing Engineer to validate data integrity quality and accuracy across data warehousing ETL and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in database testing ETL validation and data quality assurance with the ability to identify and resolve data discrepancies throughout the data lifecycle. Design and execute test cases for ETL Data Warehouse Data Lake and reporting solutions. Validate source to target data mappings and transformation logic. Perform data quality data reconciliation and data integrity testing. Develop and execute SQL queries to validate large datasets. Analyze data discrepancies and work with development teams to resolve issues. Perform functional regression integration and end-to-end testing for data pipelines. Validate reports dashboards and business intelligence solutions. Create test plans test strategies and test execution reports. Participate in Agile ceremonies and collaborate with cross functional teams. Strong SQL and database testing experience Oracle SQL Server PostgreSQL Snowflake etc. Handson experience in ETL testing using Informatica Talend DataStage SSIS or similar tools. Experience with Data Warehouse and Data Lake architecture. Knowledge of data validation data profiling and reconciliation techniques. Familiarity with Azure Data Factory Databricks AWS Glue or similar cloud data platforms. Experience with test management tools such as JIRA Azure DevOps or HP ALM. Understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies. Experience with automation frameworks for data testing. Handson exposure to Python PySpark for data validation. Knowledge of Big Data technologies such as Hadoop and Spark. Exposure to GenAI based testing tools and AI assisted test automation.

Other Details

Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
