Job summary

The Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) invites applications for a Senior Specialist, Programs and Engagement. The role supports the Health Care Affairs cluster, partnering with CAHSE, AAHCI, ACOL, and ORR, and works with governance and executive stakeholders to strengthen member management activities.

You'll plan and implement in-person and virtual meetings, develop engagement strategies for C-suite and physician leaders, and coordinate cross-cluster initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required (Business specialty preferred).
• 5–7 years of related work experience.
• At least 1 year experience in academic medicine or teaching hospitals (2–3 years preferred).

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement member engagement strategies for CAHSE, AAHCI, ORR, and ACOL.
• Coordinate operations and administrative work of CAHSE and ORR Administrative Boards.
• Document key work processes and ensure they are regularly updated for accessibility.
• Lead Administrative Board/Steering Committee tasks including data updates, meeting logistics, and minutes.
• Plan and execute in-person and virtual meetings, engagement activities, and events across clusters.
• Collaborate with HCA leads and external partners to foster cross-cluster engagement and governance.
