Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking an experienced supervisor to lead Special Systems construction on a data center project. You will coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and field staff to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with high quality.

The role requires 6+ years in Special Systems/IT infrastructure, knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI standards, and the ability to read contract documents, drawings, and schedules. This is a salaried exempt, on-site role with travel expectations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years of experience with Special Systems and IT infrastructure on large projects.
• Experience with major Special Systems installation is required.
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI standards.
• Ability to read and interpret contract documents, drawings, specs and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Special Systems installation per contract documents, scheduling, quality, and safety standards.
• Develop a comprehensive Special Systems schedule coordinating with engineering and field teams.
• Ensure EH&S compliance and subcontractor adherence to Turner safety policies.
• Coordinate with other trades to integrate Special Systems with MEP disciplines.
• Review issues, RFI responses, and change orders affecting Special Systems scope.
