Job summary

Turner Construction Company seeks a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee preconstruction, engineering, and installation of Special Systems for data centers. You will manage budgets, scheduling, quality, and safety across divisions 27 Telecommunication and 28 Electrical Safety on complex projects.

You will lead teams, coordinate with engineers, subs, and owners, drive GMP development, review contract documents, and ensure risk is mitigated from inception through closeout to meet

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in construction design, cost, sequence, logistics, and field installations of substantial low voltage systems/IT infrastructure.
• Experience with installation of major special systems and IT components.
• Knowledge of TIA/EIA and BICSI; familiarity with delivery methods like design–bid–build, design–build, CM at risk.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement, project budgets, quality, safety, engineering, coordination, scheduling, installation, commissioning, and close-out for Special Systems.
• Prepare scope of work documents with clear responsibilities for trades and specific systems.
• Support GMP development, identify cost premiums, and propose alternatives within scope.
• Interpret contracts to mitigate risk and manage documentation (RFIs, change orders, submittals, as-builts).
• Lead, coach, and develop Turner Special Systems team and coordinate with owners and designers.
