Job summary

Point is building a category-defining home equity company with a remote-first culture across the U.S. This role leads expert management of defaulted Home Equity Investments, including loss mitigation, bankruptcy, and foreclosure processes.

You will drive strategic solutions, oversee subservicers, and mentor the Special Servicing team in new policies and procedures. You will analyze complex cases, communicate with investors and attorneys, and help optimize investor recovery while supporting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Mortgage, HELOC, or HEI servicing, with default management and loss mitigation.
• Deep knowledge of foreclosure navigation from default through final sale/bid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze defaulted Home Equity Investments to develop recovery strategies.
• Collaborate with investors, attorneys, and subservicers to enable loss mitigation.
• Manage subservicer and foreclosure firm relationships to ensure compliant processes.
• Maintain regulatory documentation and compliance standards.
• Train and coach the Special Servicing team on new policies and procedures.
• Conduct audits and call monitoring to ensure subservicer performance.
• Assist in resolving escalated servicing requests and customer inquiries.
• Contribute to policy and workflow improvements for servicing operations.
• Provide timely investor reporting on the status of Home Equity Investments.
• Offer feedback to product/engineering teams on system/ workflow enhancements.
