Southland Industries is seeking a Senior Project Manager to direct planning and scheduling of Special Projects. You will drive PM processes, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor performance against plans, and ensure budgets and schedules are adhered to.

The role emphasizes constructability input, cost control, and staff development while aligning with corporate objectives and the company’s values as a 100% employee-owned firm. Washington-based operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field, or equivalent.
• 10 years of experience in mechanical construction operations, including industrial and specialty construction.
• Knowledge of company operations and philosophy.
• Proficient organizational and analytical skills.
• Outstanding leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to establish and achieve corporate, group, and project goals.

Responsibilities

• Directs the planning and scheduling of Special Projects to meet objectives.
• Supports implementation of PM processes, policies, and procedures.
• Monitors project performance and escalates issues as needed.
• Manages budgets and cost analysis for assigned projects.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to resolve challenges.
• Develops objectives and work plans; delegates and reviews results.
• Oversees two or more teams; controls costs, methods, and staffing.
• Identifies staff training needs and supports career development.
