Arrow Child & Family Ministries' Arrow Center for Education is seeking a Senior Teacher to assist the Education Supervisor in the daily operation and management of the educational and behavioral components of the school. Implement and monitor procedures to ensure compliance with state certification and contractual obligations.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state Standard Professional Teaching License.
• At least 3 years of teaching experience in special education with emotionally disturbed students.
• At least 1 year of progressive supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe learning environment for students within the Arrow Center for Education policies and procedures.
• Provide direct instruction to students in a pull-out class or as a classroom role model when vacancies occur.
• Participate in the hiring process of instructional and resource staff.
• Provide mentorship to teachers and practicum students.
• Support teachers in leading their classroom teams.
• Conduct non-evaluation observations and co-teaching activities.
• Conduct staff development training as needed.
• Teach and model instructional best practices.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a positive school culture.
• Maintain school safety, rules, and crisis intervention when necessary.
• Manage library, media center, instructional materials and technology resources.
