Job summary

Arrow Child & Family Ministries seeks an Assistant Teacher to support the Teacher in delivering educational and special education services tailored to each student’s needs as described in IEPs and PEPs. The role provides leadership and guidance in a supportive classroom.

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, totaling 2,080 hours annually. Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED and at least one year of experience with children and families; a

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• At least one year of experience working with children and families.
• Bachelor’s or Associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe learning environment for students.
• Supervise and manage student behavior in the classroom and school events.
• Assist in direct group and individual instruction to students.
• Assist in completing daily attendance, grades, IEP data logs, portfolios, and behavioral logs.
• Contribute to a positive school culture and effective teamwork.
