Job summary

True Anomaly, Inc. is hiring a Senior Flight Software Engineer to join our space systems team near Denver, CO or Long Beach, CA. You will work on flight computers, GNC integration, and mission software across design, test, and flight phases.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years in low-level firmware, C/C++, and Python, with RTOS experience and readiness for ITAR compliance. Onsite roles include strong collaboration and rapid development culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant field and 6+ years of experience in firmware development.
• Experience with low-level firmware architecture, design, and development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ and Python; familiarity with RTOS like RTLinux or Azure RTOS.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the software development life cycle for flight computers used in space missions.
• Integrate GNC algorithms with flight software.
• Define and maintain the Command Telemetry Database (CDTB) for ground and on-orbit tests.
• Collaborate with ground C2 software team and assist with scripting and sequencing.
