Job summary
Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Software Systems Engineer to define, design, and maintain complex architectures using MBSE and Cameo System Modeler. You will ensure traceability from system requirements to software development and contribute to architecture guidance for future projects.
The role requires US citizenship and final secret clearance, with experience in MBSE, SysML/UML, and a background in systems or software engineering.
Qualifications
- Experience in systems engineering, software engineering, or related field.
- Proven expertise in Cameo Systems Modeler / Cameo Enterprise Architecture or equivalent.
- Knowledge of SysML (System Modeling Language) and/or UML (Unified Modeling Language).
- US Citizenship required and final secret clearance needed to start.
Responsibilities
- Use MBSE to define, design, and maintain complex system architectures using Cameo Systems Modeler.
- Bridge the gap between high-level system requirements and detailed software development with traceability.
- Develop and publish corporate plans using cost-effective technologies to support major strategies.
- Provide architectural guidelines for software design across current and future environments.
