Job summary

Tech7 seeks a Spacecraft or Spacecraft Subsystem SME to join our team in El Segundo, CA. You will lead mechanical, electrical or test activities for space vehicle programs and coordinate with government customers and prime contractors.

The role emphasizes space qualification testing, test plan/report development, and ensuring interfaces across space and ground segments. A Secret Clearance is required; TS/SCI is a plus, with on-site work at LA AFB.

Qualifications

• Active Security Clearance required; TS/SCI preferred
• BS in engineering, mathematics, physics, software or CS
• 15 years’ spacecraft bus/subsystem experience or Master’s +12 years

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for the ESS Program Office in delivering the space vehicle subsystems
• Lead trades for unit/subsystem designs, integration and testing into spacecraft bus and payload
• Ensure interfaces within space vehicle as well as ground and terminal segments
• Support component and unit testing, including space qualification tests and documentation
• Develop and maintain test plans and reports for space vehicle tests
• Foster strong relationships with government customers, contractors, and teammates
