Job summary

Antares in Torrance, CA seeks a Senior Structural Analyst to own stress analysis, structural dynamics, and launch-load verification for space nuclear hardware. You will build FEMs, perform static and modal analyses, and drive test plans from concept through qualification.

You will collaborate with design, systems, and test teams to ensure robust structures, develop reusable analysis methods, and support from early concept to hardware qualification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a mechanical/ aerospace/ structural discipline.
• 5+ years of structural analysis, dynamics, or aerospace structures experience.
• Strong fundamentals in solid mechanics, stiffness, dynamics, and fatigue.

Responsibilities

• Own stress analysis and structural dynamics for space nuclear hardware.
• Build and maintain finite element models at multiple levels of assembly.
• Run static, modal, random vibration, acoustic and thermal-stress analyses.
• Define loads, boundary conditions, margins, and verification approaches for flight hardware.
• Plan and execute vibration, modal, acoustic, and structural tests.
• Support test readiness reviews, design reviews, and risk assessments.
