Rocket Lab’s Space Systems group seeks a Senior Spacecraft Structural Analysis Engineer II to define loads, validate designs, and drive improvements for space systems. You will perform static/dynamic analyses, run finite element models, and collaborate with design and test engineers to ensure structural margins are maintained throughout development and production phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required
• U.S. citizenship due to program requirements
• 8+ years of aerospace engineering experience
• Experience with NX Nastran, NX CAD, and Teamcenter

Responsabilités

• Define loads and environments for testing and analysis
• Perform structural and dynamic analyses of vehicle structures
• Conduct finite element validation and mass optimization
• Lead design-test iterations with cross-disciplinary teams
• Support testing of subsystems and components
• Lead technical projects and establish best practices
