Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking an experienced Spacecraft Mechanical Engineer to lead design reviews, validate test plans, and drive cost and risk reduction through robust processes and engineering tools.

This 100% onsite position requires strong CAD and vibration testing experience, with mentorship responsibilities and collaboration across programs to advance future mechanical designs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with focus on Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field.
• Strong CAD experience with SolidWorks and GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
• Experience with spacecraft environments and testing (random, sine, acoustic, TVAC).
• Ability to obtain US security clearance and US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Set technical direction for the group and drive best practices.
• Create processes, tools, standards, and design guides; build knowledge base.
• Support REAs to solve challenges and develop verification tests; attend reviews.
