Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Space Imaging team to define electrical architectures for EO/IR sensor payloads and lead hardware bring-up through flight-ready hardware.

You will design power distribution, EMI/EMC protection, and high-speed interfaces (10GbE, RS-422, I2C, SPI), collaborate across firmware, mechanical, and systems teams, and support testing to meet space-grade requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
• 8+ years designing power, interface, or mixed-signal electronics for space/defense systems.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464 EMI/EMC design and test methods.
• Experience with connector selection, pin/harness definition, and derating analysis.
• Strong hardware debugging skills using standard lab equipment.
• Proficiency with schematic capture and circuit simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and own electrical architecture for EO/IR sensor payloads.
• Design isolated DC/DC power conversion and EMI/EMC protection circuitry.
• Select connectors, define pin assignments, and establish shielding and bonding schemes.
• Design and support high-speed Ethernet (10GbE) and I/O interfaces to host avionics.
• Support EMI/EMC qualification testing and ESD protection design.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical, and systems engineers for bring-up and verification.
• Develop and execute test procedures using lab equipment to validate designs.
