Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking an Electrical Engineer for the Space Imaging team to define electrical architecture of EO/IR sensor payloads, including power distribution, harness interfaces, EMI protection, and high-speed interfaces. You will build and test prototypes and help mature designs into flight hardware.

You will collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical, and systems engineers; bring-up and verification testing; and help ensure reliability in space and tactical environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years experience in power, interface, or mixed-signal electronics for space/defense systems.
• Experience designing isolated DC/DC power conversion and EMI filters.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-461/464 EMI/EMC design and test methods.
• Connector selection and harness design with MIL-HDBK-1547A.
• Strong hardware debugging with lab equipment.
• US Person status and eligibility for a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Define and own electrical architecture for EO/IR sensor payloads.
• Design isolated DC/DC power conversion and EMI filtering.
• Select connectors, define pin assignments, and establish shielding and bonding schemes.
• Support high-speed Ethernet (10GbE) and I/O interfaces.
• Assist EMI/ESD qualification testing and radiation tolerance considerations.
• Collaborate with firmware, mechanical, optical, and systems teams.
