Job summary

Moog Inc. in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Sr Test Engineer to own end-to-end EGSE test solutions for spacecraft avionics, including hardware, software, and documentation.

You will design EGSE, develop LabVIEW UIs, write automation scripts in Python or Perl, and collaborate with systems, firmware, and manufacturing test teams to meet mission readiness.

A strong background in LabVIEW, C, Python, and test hardware is required; mentors and growth opportunities are available, with relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in aerospace/defense test engineering with hands-on ownership of EGSE hardware, software and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design and build EGSE for spacecraft avionics and develop cabling/harnesses.
• Develop test software with LabVIEW UIs and Python/Perl scripts; integrate with embedded code.
• Interface with SBCs and I/O for C&DH and EPS power switching.
• Create formal test documentation: ATPs, I&T plans, and environmental test plans.
• Run campaigns, troubleshoot anomalies, drive root cause actions, and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, firmware, manufacturing test, and program management.
