Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to turn engineering concepts into producible spacecraft hardware. You will design and model complex components using CREO, perform trades and analyses, and ensure designs meet tolerances and requirements.

You will collaborate across engineering disciplines to deliver robust, manufacturable solutions for spaceflight applications. The role requires a strong background in mechanical/ aerospace engineering, 8+ years of experience, and hands-on

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
8+ years of progressive design and analysis experience.
Hands-on CREO modeling and design experience.
Experience with space hardware design and testing.
Strong fundamentals in statics, dynamics, materials, and machine design.

Responsibilities

Lead the design of complex spacecraft components and subsystems with production-level drawings.
Conduct and document trade studies to optimize architecture and requirements.
Perform structural, thermal, and tolerance analyses to validate designs.
Collaborate with analysis, manufacturing, and electrical teams to deliver integrated hardware.
