Job summary

Redwire Space Missions, LLC in Littleton, CO seeks a Sr. Level Systems Engineer & Space Craft Architect to guide full lifecycle spacecraft development and architect the next generation of VLEO spacecraft.

You will own system interfaces, lead reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR), mentor junior engineers, and produce authoritative documentation. Ideal candidates have 10+ years in space engineering and US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of space engineering experience across lifecycle.
• Proven leadership guiding multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience with architecture and system-level trades.
• US citizenship with ability to obtain DoD clearance.

Responsibilities

• Drive the technical vision and system architecture from concept to operations.
• Lead milestone reviews including SRR, PDR, CDR, and TRR.
• Own spacecraft interfaces across subsystems and manage ICDs.
• Plan and execute technical reviews to ensure mission readiness.
• Develop high-fidelity test assets, models, and documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical excellence.
