Job summary

Redwire Space Missions in Littleton seeks a Requirements Verification and Validation (V&V) Lead to own and drive V&V across the program lifecycle. You will manage baselines, define verification strategies, and mentor engineers in best practices.

The role requires deep space systems experience, collaboration with Software, Avionics, Mechanical, Electrical, and Test teams, and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. ITAR/EAR awareness and travel up to 5% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Aerospace, Mechanical, Software, Electrical or related STEM field.
• 5–10 years of engineering experience in the aerospace/space industry.
• Experience with government or commercial spacecraft programs.
• Experience with requirements and verification management tools such as DOORS, Jama, or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. DoD security clearance.
• Experience leading teams and/or large engineering efforts.

Responsibilities

• Manage JAMA requirements projects for programs, ensuring baselines are maintained.
• Define and create requirements specification trees for programs.
• Define, allocate, trace, decompose system requirements across SOI levels.
• Define verification roadmaps and strategies; align with AI&T campaigns.
• Support RV&V process and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Mentor junior engineers in best practices and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
• Drive continuous improvement in SE tools, methodologies, and metrics.
