Join our team of problem solvers as we add new chapters to the history of spaceflight!

This role supports the development and operations of New Glenn, a single-configuration, heavy-lift orbital launch vehicle capable of routinely carrying people and payloads to low-Earth orbit, geostationary transfer orbit, cislunar, and beyond. Its first stage is fully reusable, and the vehicle was designed from the beginning to be human-capable.

As part of a small team, you’ll provide technical expertise and analytical solutions to support the development of new space vehicles and test/launch facilities. You’ll need proficiency in shock, vibration, and acoustic environment measurement/prediction/analysis, and related quantitative methods.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Prediction of launch vehicle vibration, shock, and acoustic environments due to engine, aerodynamic, pyrotechnic, or other sources, using empirical and numerical modeling methods.
  • Shock, vibration, and acoustic measurement/data processing and interpretation of ground and flight tests.
  • Development, supervision, troubleshooting, and verification/validation of component, sub-system, and system level dynamic environment tests.
  • Other high and low frequency loads tasks as required.
