Job summary

LV8D Solutions is seeking a Space Vehicle Test Engineer to support SV AT&L and oversee Assembly, Integration & Test (ATLO) activities from a prime contractor perspective. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and coordination across government and contractor sites.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's in Aerospace or Systems Engineering and 9–14 years of ATLO/SETA experience; DoW/IC knowledge and strong organizational skills are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 9–14 years experience in ATLO, Al&T or Systems engineering for space programs.
• Proven leadership in SETA activities, including team management and stakeholder coordination.
• Familiarity with DoW/IC programs and SOW compliance.
• Strong organizational and communication skills in high-pressure environments.
• Experience reviewing installation/test procedures, monitoring execution, identifying risks, and providing on-site support.

Responsibilities

• Direct ATLO operations and activities.
• Support staffing, planning and headcount allocation for in-plant coverage.
• Support ATLO schedule assessments and Al&T planning activities.
• Facilitate factory inquiries and on-site visits.
• Track topics impacting Al&T progress and participate in related forums.
• Review procedures and witness floor operations to improve safety and efficiency.
• Conduct CONOPs reviews and provide feedback as needed.
• Provide MIP coverage and reporting when available.
• Inform customer of AT&T status via reports.
• Use contractor reports and floor walks to maintain situational awareness.
• Serve as primary communication channel for technical and operational updates.
