Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related technical discipline (Systems/Software/Aerospace).
• 9+ years experience in software/systems engineering or integration.
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle: requirements, design, integration, test, verification, validation.
• Knowledge of Agile, DevSecOps, and waterfall approaches.
• Experience with aerospace/defense/space environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication; ability to present to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder and mission requirements into software and interface requirements.
• Develop and maintain software architecture artifacts, ICDs, and system engineering artifacts.
• Support requirements decomposition, allocation, verification, and validation throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with flight/software, ground software, cybersecurity, and hardware teams for end-to-end integration.
• Participate in system design reviews and program milestones (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, ORR).
• Maintain traceability between mission objectives, system requirements, software specs, and verification activities.
• Support integration, test planning, execution, issue resolution, and readiness activities.
• Perform system modeling, performance analysis, and trade studies.
