Job summary

The Boeing Company’s Satellite Development Center in El Segundo, CA is seeking all levels of Electrical Engineers and STE designers to join the Special Test Equipment team. You will design, develop, validate space-grade test equipment and instrument drivers for power, digital, RF/mixed-signal systems, enabling critical space missions and defense programs.

US citizenship or ability to obtain clearance.
Experience with test automation development is a plus.
Ability to work onsite in El Segundo, CA.

Responsibilities

Define software architecture and lead test automation frameworks.
Develop and validate instrument drivers for test equipment.
Implement test sequences and data logging using C#, LabVIEW, TestStand, Python, or MATLAB.
Integrate test assets into cohesive systems with robust error handling.
Design maintainable software components with CI/CD and testing.
Build user interfaces and tools to run tests efficiently.
Collaborate with hardware engineers to define interfaces and workflows.
Lead hands-on lab integration and troubleshoot system-level issues.
Automate data analysis, reporting, and pass/fail criteria; manage results.
Maintain documentation and support build/test infrastructure.
