Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a senior network engineer to design, build, and operate a global Service Provider network for the Leo program, delivering reliable connectivity across space and terrestrial infrastructure. You will own monitoring, incident response, and on-call rotations, mentor other engineers, and collaborate with software, systems, and hardware teams to scale operations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of systems design, software development, operations, automation, and process improvement experience.
• 5+ years of deploying and operating in a Linux/Unix environment.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one modern language such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, Ruby.
• Experience with building and maintaining network monitoring solutions in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain processes, procedures, and tooling to monitor, troubleshoot, and operate a global Service Provider network at scale
• Develop proactive monitoring and alerting solutions to continuously improve network reliability and customer experience
• Ensure that all systems are designed to be robust, scalable, maintainable, and adaptable
• Integrate with existing systems such as trouble ticketing, dashboards, and metrics tools and services
• Mentor engineers and collaborate with other software development, systems development, and network teams.
• Provide support and incident response as part of an on‑call rotation
