Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC is seeking network operations engineers to support the Leo Networking Software team, focusing on tier 1 support for the satellite network. The role involves diagnosing incidents, onboarding network capabilities, and maintaining high uptime for customers at scale.

Qualified candidates will have strong Python or other modern languages experience, Linux expertise, and solid cloud networking knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, C++, or similar languages.
• Solid Linux/Unix experience and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong understanding of cloud networking concepts and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Respond to and elevate network-related incidents promptly, diagnosing issues.
• Assist in deployment and onboarding of network capabilities across regions.
• Monitor performance to ensure uptime and efficiency for customers.
• Develop tools and best practices to improve network operations.
• Handle severity 2/3 tickets and participate in on-call rotations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across network, software, and security.
