Job summary

CTS Technology Solutions, Inc. in El Segundo, CA is seeking a Senior Software Test & Verification Engineer to join the Ground Software Engineering team. This role focuses on automated regression tests for satellite/ground systems in a fast-paced, CI/CD environment.

The ideal candidate has DoD Secret clearance and 5+ years in software testing and lifecycle together with Java/C++/Python experience, agile/DevOps familiarity, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• 5+ years of automated/functional testing experience.
• 5+ years in the Software Development Life Cycle (requirements to test).
• 3+ years with Java, C++, or Python.
• Experience in Agile software development and DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Support verification development and review of Test Cases and Test Procedures.
• Lead software test team in formal verification of requirements.
• Lead FATs with the test team and maintain logs/reports.
• Document issues using change control tools; track burnup charts.
• Report verification status at program management reviews.
• Coordinate with Ground Mission Software and Flight/ Ground teams.
• Ensure compliance with software development and verification processes.
• Support Change Control Board activities for Verification.
• Plan Deliverables (verification plans, reports) to meet milestones.
