Job summary

Blue Origin is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support their Advanced Concepts & Enterprise Engineering team in Seattle, WA. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and experience with CAD systems, as well as a strong background in aerospace manufacturing.

Your responsibilities will include planning and supporting builds of engineering demonstrators, driving design principles, and collaborating across various teams to ensure manufacturability. Strong communication skills and technical leadership experience are necessary for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of component and system development lifecycle from concept through production.
• Experience planning and supporting R&D hardware builds, managing BOMs, and process documentation.
• 7+ years of experience in aerospace or similar complex manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the manufacturing technical focal for assigned subsystems.
• Plan for and support builds of engineering demonstrators and prototypes.
• Drive Design for Excellence principles and conduct producibility assessments.
