Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation seeks a Sr. CE & LSE Support Leader to provide expert systems engineering across space vehicle programs, coordinating with government leads and stakeholders. This role requires leading multidisciplinary teams, mentoring staff, and guiding the technical direction for system requirements and verification.

You will work on-site at our El Segundo facility, travel 10-15% of the time, with strong collaboration across the national security space enterprise and DOD customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant Engineering, Math, or Science subject area.
• 12+ years of engineering experience on space vehicle or payload projects.
• Ability to interface with Government customer and contractors at senior levels.

Responsibilities

• Be the Aerospace primary technical advisor to government leads and ensure understanding of system requirements.
• Lead systems engineering, requirements, and test/verification methodologies for space programs.
• Coordinate SME inputs and integrate technical products for leadership review.
• Ensure successful integration across space, ground, and crypto segments.
