Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks a SME Aerospace Engineer to support SSC Space Sensing in Los Angeles, CA, at LA AFB. The role covers systems engineering, mission integration, and readiness across the space acquisition lifecycle.

The ideal candidate is a recognized expert with DoD or national security space experience, capable of shaping technical directions and briefing senior government leaders. Anticipated start date: Sep 28, 2026.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated systems engineering experience across requirements, design, integration, verification, test, and sustainment.
• Ability to influence technical direction and brief senior Government leaders.
• Experience with complex DoD space programs and mission readiness activities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for the functional area and advise Government technical leadership on high-complexity issues.
• Shape technical approaches, lead reviews/analyses, and coordinate cross-organizational efforts.
• Support spacecraft, payload, launch vehicle, ground system, and mission-partner integration activities.
