Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks a Journeyman Aerospace Engineer to support SSC Space Sensing activities at Los Angeles area facilities. You'll perform systems engineering, mission integration, space vehicle and ground system work across the acquisition life cycle.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on aerospace experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced DoD environment with sensitive information and government meetings.

Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace systems engineering and life‑cycle activities.
• Ability to review complex technical documents and provide clear recommendations.
• Strong written and verbal communication for government reviews.

Responsibilities

• Independently execute assigned technical or analytical tasks under general direction and elevate issues requiring Government decision.
• Apply systems engineering methods across concept development, requirements definition, design, integration, verification, test, launch, operations, and sustainment.
• Review technical requirements, SPs, IMS/IS schedules, interface documents, test docs for completeness and consistency.
• Track performance, requirements verification, interfaces, schedule, risk, and mission readiness.
• Support spacecraft, payload, launch vehicle, ground system, and mission-partner integration.
• Participate in technical interchange meetings, design reviews, readiness reviews, and other program reviews.
• Develop technical assessments, reports, briefings, white papers, and action-item tracking for Government review.
