Job summary

Delta Solutions & Strategies seeks a SME Industrial Engineer to support Space Systems Command in Los Angeles area. The role focuses on systems engineering management, integration, scheduling, process development, and cross‑functional program execution for Space Sensing programs.

The candidate will lead complex analyses, shape technical approaches, and brief senior stakeholders, with on‑site work at LAAFB in El Segundo, CA and potential CONUS travel. Experience in DoD space programs is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience as SME in DoD or national security space programs.
• Ability to influence technical direction and brief senior stakeholders.
• Experience with systems engineering management, risk, configuration, interface, or schedule management.
• On-site work at Los Angeles Air Force Base in El Segundo, CA with travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME authority for the assigned functional area and advise Government leadership on high‑complexity issues.
• Shape technical approaches, strategies, processes, and decision products and lead the most complex reviews or analyses.
• Coordinate across Integrated Product Teams and functional organizations to improve transparency and synchronization of activities.
• Develop, maintain, and present Integrated Master Schedules and related program scheduling products.
• Assist Government teams with work breakdown structures, schedule dependencies, critical paths, milestones, and program baseline reviews.
