Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Specialist, Systems Engineer in Palm Bay, FL. This role provides leadership for space-based subsystems, spanning from pursuit through operations.

You will work in cross-functional teams, drive requirements, perform MBSE, and coordinate with subsystems to ensure performance and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate has a strong aerospace background, experience across full lifecycle, and the ability to communicate with customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 4+ years of relevant experience; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience in aerospace systems engineering lifecycle from pursuit to operations.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead technically through product lifecycle including advanced R&D, capture, proposals, design, integration & test, verification, and sustainment.
• Coordinate with System Integration and Test engineer for payload and space vehicle subsystems testing.
• Define and track system requirements, interfaces, and verification activities with MBSE methods.
• Present technical information at reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TIM) and ensure timely issue resolution.
