Job summary

Solutions Through Innovative Technologies, Inc. (STI-TEC) seeks a Sr Space Systems Engineer SME with deep experience in space system architecture, mission design, and end-to-end systems integration for defense or national security space programs.

The role requires proficiency in requirements development, interface control, space-to-ground integration, and a track record leading multi-mission architectures in contested environments. Active TS/SCI is required.

Qualifications

• MS with over 10 years of experience in space systems engineering.
• Expert in classified space control space, ground, and C2 systems.
• Expert in space control technologies, including electromagnetic spectrum, signal processing, and comms.
• Experience developing and managing technical requirements and space system acquisitions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end space system architecture development.
• Develop and validate system requirements across space, ground, and comm segments.
• Guide integration and test planning across multi-domain components.
• Conduct engineering analyses and trade studies to inform design decisions.
• Coordinate with government, contractor, and mission partner teams to resolve engineering challenges.
