Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced aerospace engineer to design spacecraft and subsystems, lead engineering teams, and guide mission-critical space programs. You will work across disciplines to develop architectures, perform tests, and ensure delivery of hardware from concept to operation.

The role requires deep hands-on experience, willingness to travel for testing, and the ability to obtain a United States Top Secret clearance. This is a full-time position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 25+ years designing spacecraft and subsystems
• 10+ years leading space hardware delivery teams
• Experience with spacecraft system architectures
• Experience in design reviews and test campaigns
• Hands-on build and prototyping of spacecraft systems
• Willingness to travel for test planning and execution
• US citizenship and ability to obtain TS clearance

Responsibilities

• Help design spacecraft and space system architectures
• Build conceptual designs of missions and payloads
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineers across the lifecycle
• Draft and develop test plans for critical subsystems
• Develop interface controls for partners and customers
• Support build, bench testing, integration, and operations
• Mentor engineers in small spacecraft design and testing
• Conduct hardware demonstrations with customers as needed
