Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Senior Manager for Blue Ring Structures & Analysis to lead the team responsible for structural integrity and dynamic analysis of the Blue Ring spacecraft. You will drive engineering strategy, direct FE modeling, and coordinate loads development across multiple missions to ensure safe, reliable hardware.

The role requires a strong background in mechanical analysis, a track record of leading technical teams, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a B.S. in mechanical, aerospace, or civil engineering.
• 8+ years in structural analysis and/or loads & dynamics.
• 5+ years of experience leading technical teams and/or functional groups.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, manage, and mentor a diverse engineering team focused on Blue Ring structures and loads.
• Direct and guide system/component loads modeling, simulation, and verification for ground and flight regimes.
• Lead Finite Element Model development and correlation to test data.
• Own program communication, reviews, and financial forecasting with leadership.
• Develop and maintain product roadmaps and align with customer needs.
• Ensure designs meet technical requirements, schedule, and budget obligations.
