Lockheed Martin Space is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the simulation software team for the NASA Orion program. You will design, develop, test, and maintain simulation tools using C++, Python, and MATLAB/Simulink to replicate spacecraft dynamics and mission scenarios.

You will contribute across the full software lifecycle, produce user documentation, and support users in software-only and hardware-in-the-loop environments, within a collaborative team focused on cutting-edge space

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Experience with the full software development lifecycle.
• Proficiency in C++, Python; Linux experience.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test and debug simulation software models to replicate hardware functionality and mission scenarios.
• Coordinate development of simulation tools across the lifecycle and environments.
• Produce user documentation and support users in software-only and hardware-in-the-loop setups.
• Ensure code quality and adherence to engineering practices in large-scale systems.
