Job summary

Radiance Technologies seeks a Simulation Engineer to support NASA Orion and Artemis programs. The role focuses on designing, integrating, and sustaining high-fidelity spacecraft simulations with hands-on C++/Python development in Linux environments.

The candidate will work in a collaborative, mission-focused team on-site in Littleton, CO (or Houston, TX), with an emphasis on testing, verification, and tools development to enable robust simulation operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field (engineering, CS, math, or physical sciences).
• Minimum of five years supporting spacecraft programs.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Experience developing software in C++ and Python.
• Experience with real-time 6-DoF simulation.
• Experience in a Linux development environment.
• Experience with Perforce or similar version-control system.
• Experience with Agile development.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform docking ground software systems engineering for Orion MPCV and Artemis missions.
• Develop, debug, and maintain simulation software using C++ and Python.
• Support simulation software design, production, integration, and verification activities.
• Develop and execute unit, functional, integration, and system-level tests for simulation software.
• Support real-time 6-DoF simulation development and integration.
• Support integration with simulation rigs, test environments, spacecraft test laboratories, and ground systems.
• Develop or enhance interfaces to monitor, execute, and report simulation activities.
• Support configuration management and software version control with Perforce.
• Collaborate with engineers and customers to resolve technical issues.
