Job summary

You will collaborate with engineering, finance, and legal teams to craft winning messages, manage timelines, and deliver proposals that meet customer requirements, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in technical, management, or business discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in proposal management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Proven success leading proposals valued over $100M.
• Technical writing expertise to translate complex info into clear language.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proposal plans, including RFP analysis, outlines, and compliance matrices.
• Craft winning proposal strategies with the BD Manager/Director and develop compelling messaging.
• Write and manage compliant, high-quality proposals addressing RFP requirements.
• Lead proposal kick-off meetings and maintain regular check-ins with contributors.
• Coordinate with engineering, finance, legal to gather content for proposals.
• Create and manage proposal templates, reusable content, and visuals (charts, tables).
• Conduct QA for grammar, consistency, formatting; ensure on-time submissions.
• Oversee final production and submission and capture lessons learned for future proposals.
