Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Senior Proposal Manager II to lead the creation and submission of compliant, compelling proposals for US and international customers, with a focus on satellite opportunities.

Based in Littleton, CO, you will drive proposal strategy, coordinate with engineering, finance, legal, and other teams, and deliver high-quality submissions on tight timelines while maintaining rigorous QA and alignment with the overall campaign goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in technical, management, or business discipline.
• 8+ years of experience in proposal management.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
• Demonstrated success leading proposals valued over $100 million.
• Technical writing excellence; translate complex technical info into clear, persuasive language.
• Strong project management across multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proposal plans, including analyzing RFPs, creating outlines, and building compliance matrices.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager and Director to craft winning proposal strategies and messaging.
• Write and manage compliant, high-quality proposals addressing RFP requirements.
• Lead proposal kick-off meetings and coordinate with contributors to meet timelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, finance, legal) to gather and refine proposal content.
• Create and manage proposal templates, reusable content, and visuals like charts and infographics.
