Job summary

SEAKR Engineering, LLC is seeking a Sr. Proposal Manager to lead cross-functional teams in responding to new business requests within the space electronics sector.

You will manage proposals from RFQ/RFI to RFP, coordinating pricing, schedules, and technical content to deliver winning responses. The role requires an extensive engineering background, leadership in cost and schedule development, and strong communication and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Understanding of proposal best practices, processes and tools.
• Ability to convey messages and discriminators with a common voice.
• Demonstrated ability to lead pricing and scheduling efforts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Experience writing, evaluating, and managing proposals.
• Ability to develop and adhere to a schedule.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.
• Proven leadership in cross-functional teams.
• US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and lead proposal development teams.
• Manage responses to RFQ, RFI, ROM, and RFP requests.
• Create and drive proposal schedules and deliverables.
• Lead writing of proposal content including pricing and technical volumes.
• Develop and review Basis of Estimates (BOEs).
• Coordinate answers to Fact-Finding questions.
• Lead story-boarding and proposal strategy development.
• Support win themes and discriminators.
• Coordinate major meetings like Bid/No-bid, Kick-off, and Pricing Reviews.
• Maintain business metrics for campaigns and analyze debriefs for continuous improvement.
