Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Program Manager Level 3 to lead the ESPAStar Program within Space Sector, focusing on spacecraft/space system integration and mission operations. You will drive program execution, partner with diverse teams, and manage stakeholder communications in a dynamic environment.

The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance, extensive PM experience, and a track record of delivering complex aerospace programs with strong leadership and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, or related discipline with 10 years of supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers, or Masters Degree with 8 years of experience supporting U.S. Government contracts and customers.
• Active Top-Secret/SCI clearance at time of application.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in engineering, project management, or program management for complex aerospace or space systems.
• Experience managing technical projects or investment portfolios with planning, budgeting, and tracking against cost, schedule, and technical objectives.
• Solid technical background to understand spacecraft/space system architectures, payloads, and subsystem-level trade studies.
• Ability to work in a matrixed organization, build relationships, and influence without direct authority.
• Experience leading cross functional teams (engineering, operations, business management, supply chain, etc.).
• Experience applying project performance management tools (schedules, metrics dashboards, EVMS concepts).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the ESPAStar Program Manager for a restricted customer and act as the focal point for program execution.
• Provide leadership for key technology demonstration efforts.
• Communicate status, risks, and recommendations to leadership and technical teams.
• Coordinate with diverse teams across engineering, operations, and business management to deliver objectives.
