Job summary

Redwire Space in Littleton, CO seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to design and analyze space-qualified power electronics hardware. This hands-on role requires experience with DC/DC converters, GaN FETs, and EMI considerations.

You will use OrCAD X, Altium, and SPICE tools while collaborating with systems, manufacturing, and test teams to ensure design maturity and production readiness. A BS in EE and 5+ years of circuit design experience are expected.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing electronic circuits using ECAD tools.
• Experience with analog circuit design including SMPS with GaN FETs and related filtering.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze high-efficiency DC/DC converters, switching regulators, and power circuits with GaN FETs.
• Perform detailed circuit, stability, and thermal analyses to meet mission requirements.
• Create schematics and manage PCB layout; coordinate with layout engineers.
