Job summary

Redwire Space Missions, LLC in Littleton, CO is seeking a Contractor – Electrical Design Engineer (all senior levels) for up to 6 months, with possible conversion. You will design and analyze space-qualified power electronics hardware, including DC/DC converters and high-efficiency switching circuits.

The role requires hands-on circuit design, schematics, and PCB review collaboration with layout engineers, plus documentation for reviews and customer data packages.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 5+ years of experience designing electronic circuits.
• Experience with SMPS and GaN/FETs for space/space-qualified hardware.
• Proficiency with OrCAD X for schematics and PCB collaboration.
• Experience with SPICE-based simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze high-efficiency DC/DC converters and power circuits for space applications.
• Create schematics and manage PCB layout reviews with engineers.
• Perform detailed circuit analysis including worst-case and thermal assessments.
• Support hardware bring-up and validate with spacecraft subsystems.
• Generate design documentation for internal and customer reviews.
