Redwire Space in Littleton, CO is seeking a Contractor - Electrical Design Engineer (all senior levels) for up to 6 months, with potential conversion. You will design and analyze space-qualified power electronics hardware, including high-efficiency DC/DC converters using GaN FETs and SMPS, and create schematics in OrCAD.

The role requires hands-on circuit design, PCB review coordination, and qualification for space environments. Travel up to 10% may be needed.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing electronic circuits using ECAD tools.
• Experience with analog circuit design and SMPS.
• Experience with OrCAD X for schematics and PCB collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Design and analyze high-efficiency DC/DC converters and power switching circuits.
• Create schematics and manage PCB reviews with layout engineers.
• Support hardware bring-up, validation testing, and integration with spacecraft subsystems.
