Job summary

Loud Solutions is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager (PCBA) in San Francisco to lead internal PCBA production and scale capabilities for satellite hardware. You will own the full lifecycle from equipment selection to NPI, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.

This role requires 5+ years in manufacturing or production engineering, SMT and through-hole experience, and a track record of moving products from development to high-rate production in regulated environments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in manufacturing or production engineering of PCBA assemblies.
• Experience transitioning products from development to high-rate production.
• Proficient in SMT and through-hole assembly processes and DFM principles.
• Experience with factory layout, capacity planning and NPI.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineers and technicians in PCBA assembly and test for development and flight hardware.
• Develop scalable production strategy to meet aggressive rate targets.
• Own production layout and optimize material flow end-to-end.
• Create metrics to monitor yield and on-time delivery and drive improvements.
