Impulse Space in Redondo Beach seeks a Manager PCBA Manufacturing to lead and mentor a team of PCBA manufacturing engineers, supervisors and technicians. You will own PCBA manufacturing across the company for all products, guiding fast, reliable production for space-grade hardware.

Formación

• Bachelor-level degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 6+ years of PCBA manufacturing experience, preferably in high-reliability environments.
• 3+ years of people management experience.

Responsabilidades

• Recruit and lead a team of PCBA manufacturing engineers, supervisor and technicians.
• Provide guidance on writing work instructions for board assembly, solder rework, inspection and acceptance testing.
• Implement processes to streamline manufacturing while improving rate, quality and reliability.
• Set up and run an SMT line to support development and production objectives.
• Build ATP capability for PCBAs, including functional and environmental testing.
• Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability and input to reviews.
• Optimize production rate, yield and cost of PCBA production.
• Ensure timely delivery of PCBAs to box-level assembly.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to drive innovation.
