Job summary

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited mechanical or aerospace engineering degree required.
• Graduate degree and 10+ years related experience preferred.
• Experience with spaceflight mechanism applications is essential.
• Lead multi-disciplinary mechanical engineering teams through full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design high-precision space opto-mechanical telescopes and mechanisms.
• Lead design reviews, interface with suppliers and customers.
• Develop testing to prove concepts and qualifications.
• Support production tooling, test equipment, and shop aids.
