Job summary

QinetiQ US is seeking an experienced Special Operations Planner Team Lead to serve as the senior contractor lead embedded within U.S. Space Forces at Vandenberg Space Force Base in California.

You will direct a team of planners supporting USSPACECOM’s sensitive requirements and own the quality and delivery of planning products. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in strategic studies, political science, aerospace/systems engineering, operations research, or related field.
• 15+ years of operational planning experience in a special operations, joint, or Combatant Command headquarters environment.
• 3+ years of supervisory or team lead experience managing planners or analysts in a cleared environment.
• Proven experience delivering CONOPs, COAs, and operational orders to senior leadership.
• Direct experience integrating STO or SAP into operational plans at the combatant command level.
• Strong written and verbal communication with leadership audiences and ability to manage tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with classified systems and environments (SIPRNet/JWICS).
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the senior contractor point of contact for planning activities with COR and government leadership.
• Lead and mentor a team of Special Operations Planners, manage workload and deliverables.
• Develop operational and strategic planning products across JPP, CONOPs, COAs, and OPLANS.
• Integrate STO and SAP capabilities into USSPACECOM plans and ensure deconfliction.
• Coordinate across directorates and with interagency partners for senior briefings and products.
