Job summary

Space Systems Command seeks a senior attorney to advise the Space Base Delta 3 Commander and unit leaders on a wide range of general legal matters, including complex contracts and program acquisitions across SSC. The attorney will support multi-level security, NDAA audits, and enterprise Zero Trust initiatives, while representing the defense organization in negotiations and administrative proceedings.

The role requires ABA-accredited law education, active bar status, and the ability to handle

Qualifications

• Professional knowledge of space, cyber, and intelligence law to advise senior decision makers.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local law as it affects beneficiaries and DoD personnel.
• Ability to research issues and prepare clear legal opinions.

Responsibilities

• Advise SSC leaders and subordinate/tenant units on general legal matters.
• Support contracts and programmes across SSC with legal oversight and risk assessment.
• Represent the installation in correspondence, negotiations, and hearings.
